The members of the Congregation of the Little Apostles of the Redemption (L.A.R), radiating with the splendorous rays of God's love, humbly bear witness to God's kingdom and serve as advocates of the Gospel of charity worldwide. The congregation's origins trace back to a group of six women who rallied around Father Arturo Donofrio, a devoted priest of the Nola Diocese in Italy. Father Donofrio was blessed with a heart ablaze with the love of God and a spirit of selfless service. Guided by the principles of three sacred vows, the Little Apostles of the Redemption earnestly endeavour to deepen their love and communion with Jesus and lead countless souls to embrace that divine love. The simplicity of Christ serves as their unwavering inspiration, shaping their way of life and distinguishing their identity. Initially established within the confines of a modest dwelling in Visciano, Italy, the congregation has expanded its presence to encompass over 10 countries. In this seventy-fourth year of the existence of this congregation, akin to the psalmist, we joyfully extol God's boundless mercy and providential care that exalts the meek. With unwavering dedication, the LAR sisters persist in their apostolic mission as little and humble apostles of Christ, serving the marginalized and the downtrodden.
